Supply of Performance Health Practitioner Services (Physiotherapy) – Beach Volleyball (Brisbane)

Summary and scope

QAS is seeking one experienced Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist with high-level expertise in Elite Sports Environments and High-Performance Systems to provide physiotherapy support to athletes in the Beach Volleyball program, including podium, developing, and emerging athletes. The role is based in Brisbane, with services delivered primarily from QSAC and affiliated training facilities. The successful practitioner will also contribute to strategies that support high-performance outcomes within the program. The role requires a commitment equivalent to one and a half days per week, which may be scheduled flexibly to meet program and athlete requirements. Services are generally required over 48 weeks per 12-month period. The proposed contract is for an initial term from 15 December 2025 to 28 February 2027, with an option to extend for a further 2 years till 28 February 2029 at the discretion of QAS. The Contract Price will be calculated based on a daily rate for the number of days that the Services are provided. The daily rate will be negotiated with the successful Supplier, depending on their level of experience and qualifications, and will be between the range of $580 to $640 per day (ex. GST), based on an 8-hour workday. For clarity, the Supplier will not be paid for days when the Services are not provided, including Public Holidays and where the Supplier is absent (due to illness or other reasons).
