Summary and scope

The Contractor shall provide inspection, maintenance, repair, and replacement services for electric BBQ units within the Town of Port Hedland to ensure they remain safe, functional, and compliant with Australian Standards. Routine servicing shall include electrical safety checks, grease trap maintenance, corrosion treatment, and minor component replacements. Repairs shall encompass fixing or replacing faulty heating elements, timers, control buttons, and structural components. Where BBQ units are deemed beyond economic repair or non-compliant, the Contractor shall supply and install new electric BBQ units that meet AS 4557-2004 and AS 1428.1-2009 for accessibility. All works must adhere to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations. The Contractor shall submit reports detailing maintenance activities, repairs undertaken, replacements completed, and any recommendations for future improvements. Services will be provided as and when needed, with no guaranteed minimum work volume.
