Summary and scope
Douglas Shire Council is seeing a suitably qualified contractor to design, engineer, supply and install grid-connected solar systems at the following Council facilities:• Mossman Library – approx. 31.86 kW• Council Depot – approx. 17.28 kW• Council Administration Building – approx. 35 kW• Mossman Water Treatment Plant – approx. 99.9 kWThe contractor will be responsible for developing complete solar system design for each site including • Assessment of site conditions • Determination of the most suitable system size, layout and location• Structural engineering and roof load analysis • Inverter and switchboard integration and • All required certification and compliance documentationThe project will deliver fully engineered, cyclone rated solar systems that meet all applicable Australian Standards and are future ready for battery integration. Work under this project includes design, structural certification, roof inspection, supply of equipment, installation, commissioning, testing and handover documentation The project is divided into four separable portions, one for each facility: • Mossman Library – approx. 31.86 kW• Council Depot – approx. 17.28 kW• Council Administration Building – approx. 35 kW• Mossman Water Treatment Plant – approx. 99.9 kWAll works must be completed and fully commissioned no later than 15th March 2026
