Summary and scope
Narrandera Shire Council (NSC) wishes to engage a suitably qualified consultant to undertake the following:NLEP ReviewHousekeeping review of the current NLEP, then develop a new NLEP in accordance with the Standard Instrument (Local Environmental Plans) Order 2006 (Standard Instrument), that aligns with the NLHEZLS (Key Housing Opportunities) changes in the community needs and to protect and promote suitable and sustainable development for the future while rectifying any anomalies and/or errors. The consultant is responsible for preparing all required documentation for Council to submit the Planning Proposal to the Department for a Gateway determination, public exhibition and finalisation, including submission to the Department for finalisation.The consultant will need to provide recommendations for suitable community engagement and participation throughout the LEP making process.NDCP Review/UpdateReview and update the current NDCP to be create a flexible and contemporary DCP for the entire LGA. The DCP will include but not be limited to: • Introduction & Administration• Site Requirements (All Development)• Natural Environment & Hazards• Heritage & Cultural Conservation• Subdivision & Roads (including Consolidation & Boundary Adjustment)• Residential Development (including Ancillary Development such as Garages, Carports, Outbuildings, Sheds, Tanks & Pools)• Commercial, Community & Industrial Development (including Advertising/Signage)• Rural & Other Land Uses
