ROPS - Plant Hire and Crew Hire

### 🏗️ Project Overview Cook Shire Council is seeking to establish a **Register of Pre-qualified Suppliers (ROPS)** for the hire of plant and equipment, as well as crew hire services. This tender (RFT 02525) covers both wet and dry hire arrangements to support civil construction and maintenance activities across the largest land area shire in Queensland. ### 📋 Key Requirements & Scope The council requires a wide range of machinery and personnel, including but not limited to: * **Earthmoving Equipment:** Excavators, dozers, graders, loaders, and backhoes. * **Specialized Machinery:** Concrete pumps, cranes, and lime/cement spreaders. * **Site Support:** Water tankers, traffic control equipment, and site amenities. * **Personnel:** Qualified crew hire to operate equipment or support council projects. The arrangement features an initial **two-year term** with a 12-month extension option. The council may also issue 'refresh' opportunities during the term. ### 📍 Location & Context Services will be delivered across the **Cook Shire**, covering 80% of the Cape York Peninsula.
