EOI - Acute perinatal mental health (Mother and Baby) bed-based services (Logan and Ipswich regions)

Summary and scope

Expressions of interest are sought by the Customer in relation to the supply of acute inpatient perinatal Mother and Baby Unit (MBU) mental health services in two (2) locations: Logan region, and Ipswich region.The Customer has issued this EOI with the objectives of identifying Supplier(s) with the required: • expertise and experience to deliver the specified number of mother and baby beds within dedicated MBUs to provide acute inpatient care to mothers and their babies in need of perinatal mental health treatment from the third trimester of pregnancy and up to one (1) year following childbirth;• capacity, including appropriate governance and available infrastructure, or ability to rapidly stand up the required infrastructure, to deliver the required volume of services in one (1) or more of the required locations; and• capability to partner with the relevant Hospital and Health Services (HHSs) to support a networked approach to referral, triage and continuity of care for public patients.
