Supply of Performance Health Practitioner Services (Physiotherapy) – Swimming (Sunshine Coast)

### 🏊 Overview of Opportunity The **Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS)** is seeking a qualified **Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist** to provide high-performance health services for the QAS Swimming program. This contract focuses on supporting categorised podium, developing, and emerging athletes, with a specific emphasis on **Para-athletes** within the Sunshine Coast hub. ### 📍 Location and Scope Services will be primarily delivered at the **University of the Sunshine Coast (Sippy Downs)** and affiliated training facilities. The engagement requires a commitment of approximately **two days per week** for 48 weeks per year. The initial term runs from April 2026 to February 2027, with a potential two-year extension available. ### 📋 Key Requirements * **Qualifications:** Must be a qualified Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist. * **Expertise:** Proven experience in high-performance sports environments and working with Olympic or Paralympic athletes. * **Deliverables:** Clinical physiotherapy services, injury prevention strategies, and contribution to high-performance outcome development. * **Compliance:** Mandatory completion of the **ITO Part C Response Form** is required for a conforming bid. ### 🎯 Desired Outcomes The successful practitioner will ensure elite swimmers maintain peak physical condition through expert clinical intervention and collaborative performance strategies.
