Summary and scope

The City of Greater Dandenong is committed to strong governance, effective risk management, and robust internal control frameworks to support transparent and accountable decision-making. Internal Audit plays a key role in providing independent assurance and advisory services that enhance Council’s ability to manage risk, improve processes, and achieve its strategic objectives.As part of this commitment, Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Internal Audit service provider to deliver high-quality, professional Internal Auditing Services in accordance with recognised standards and best practice. The successful contractor will support Council management and the Audit and Risk Committee through the delivery of a risk-based internal audit program and related assurance activities that meet legislative requirements and organisational expectations.
