The current Operations at the Killaloe Transfer Station are covered under 3 primary contracts. Two of these contracts are nearing completion and the respective services will be consolidated into a combined waste services contract. The core services will be weighbridge operations, carting of residual landfill waste to an approved offsite facility for disposal, and the management of the processible waste that is delivered to the site by Councils kerbside contractor which includes managing the area where this waste is temporarily stored and loading the waste for transport and disposal at an approved offsite facility.
