### 🏗️ Tender Overview Whitsunday Regional Council is inviting experienced contractors to submit proposals for the **Design and Construct** restoration of Forestry Road, Brandy Creek. This project addresses significant landslip damage caused by the North and Far North Queensland Monsoon Trough in January 2025, which resulted in severe road collapse and longitudinal cracking. ### 📋 Scope of Work The successful bidder will be required to provide design, pricing, program, and methodology for three specific remediation options outlined in the project's Geotechnical Investigation Report: * **Sub-Option 4.1:** Earthworks with a toe gravity wall and backfill. * **Sub-Option 4.2:** Earthworks with a mechanically stabilised (reinforced) earth wall. * **Option 5:** Soil nail reinforcement with no-fines concrete backfill. ### 🛠️ Requirements & Standards * All works must strictly adhere to the **Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) Routine Maintenance Guidelines - MRTS04 General Earthworks Specifications**. * The project involves an 80-meter section of road (approx.
