Summary and scope
The Whitsunday Regional Council (the Principal) is seeking a qualified and experienced Contractor to Design and Construct the reinstatement of the road edge on Forestry Road, Brandy Creek. A section of this road, approximate Chainage 3250 to 3330 (length 80 Meters) (Site), was severely impacted following the North and Far North Queensland Monsoon Trough of 2025. The Monsoon Trough was associated with heavy and continued rainfall events in January 2025. The Impacts were in the form of severe longitudinal cracks of circular nature and complete collapse of a section of Forestry Road.
