Summary and scope

Tamworth Regional Council is seeking a qualified supplier to design, develop, test, and deliver a modern replacement for the existing MyTRC mobile application for iOS and Android. The new app must provide a reliable, accessible, and user-friendly experience that enhances community engagement and consolidates key digital services into a single, intuitive mobile platform.The supplier will undertake a discovery phase to confirm objectives and requirements, followed by user-centred design, development, testing, and deployment to both app stores under Council accounts. The solution must provide streamlined access to functions housed on the new website (not built yet) such as issue reporting and requesting, bin collection lookup, sports field status, news, events, rates payments and resident portals. Ongoing maintenance, support, and documentation are required to ensure long-term reliability and sustainability.
