Summary and scope

This RFQ seeks to engage appropriately qualified consultants to prepare and provide feasibility and optimisation, followed by Detailed Scope of Works and Specifications for Battery installations (to be used in tender documentation to procure battery assets) at various sites.BMCC requires the successful consulting firm to develop the following: • Detailed Scope of Works and Specifications for Battery installations at the following sites.o Katoomba Sports & Aquatic Centre, Catalina Ave, Katoomba NSW 2780o Springwood Aquatic and Fitness Centre, 11 Plateau Rd, Springwood NSW 2777o Lawson Swim Centre, St Bernards Dr, Lawson, NSW 2783o Glenbrook Swim Centre, Fletcher St & Wascoe St, Glenbrook, NSW 2773o Katoomba Council HQ - Installation of battery storage to tie in with installed planned solar PV, 2-6 Civic Pl, Katoomba, NSW 2780o South Street depot, South St after Minni Ha Ha Rd, Katoomba, NSW 2780• Provision of construction specification documentation that complies with all relevant standards and codes of practice.• The installation contractor will be responsible for 10-year operation / provision of FCAS / community battery services with revenue share to council• The combined installation budget across all sites is $830k. The consultant should design to maximise the revenue returned to Council. Council will consider contributions for the installation to increase the storage capacity if beneficial.Submissions are expected in the range up to no more than $50K (Incl GST) submissions exceeding this may not be further considered given the available external funding constraints.
