### 🔋 Tender Overview: Battery Installation Design Consultancy Blue Mountains City Council (BMCC) is inviting proposals from qualified consultants to provide **feasibility, optimisation, and detailed technical specifications** for battery energy storage systems (BESS) across six key council sites. This project aims to maximize energy savings and emissions reductions for the council's highest-consuming buildings. #### 📍 Scope of Work The successful consultant will deliver detailed scopes of work and construction specifications for the following locations: * **Aquatic & Fitness Centres:** Katoomba, Springwood, Lawson, and Glenbrook. * **Council Facilities:** Katoomba Council HQ (integrated with solar PV) and South Street Depot. #### 💡 Key Requirements * **Design Focus:** Maximise revenue return to the Council through FCAS (Frequency Control Ancillary Services) and community battery services. * **Budget Constraints:** The combined installation budget for the assets is $830k.
