### 📋 Tender Overview Kalkadoon PBC is inviting proposals from qualified consultants to develop a comprehensive **Business Model** for the proposed Kalkadoon Heritage and Community Centre. This project is the first of a three-stage initiative aimed at strengthening the organization's corporate governance, operational structure, and long-term economic sustainability. ### 🎯 Key Scope & Deliverables Successful bidders will be responsible for: * **Governance Review:** Assessing and improving the organizational structure and corporate governance of Kalkadoon PBC. * **Strategic Planning:** Developing a plan for the establishment and operation of a Cultural, Tourism, and Economic Precinct on Kalkadoon land. * **Capacity Building:** Identifying training and development programs for Directors and board members to enhance compliance and program delivery. ### 🏢 Requirements & Qualifications Preference will be given to consultants with: * Demonstrated experience with the **CATSI Act** and PBC/native title governance (ORIC empanelment preferred). * A strong track record in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organizations. * Expertise in NIAA Indigenous Grants and PBC capacity building. * Ability to conduct site visits in Mount Isa, Queensland. ### ⚖️ Mandatory Compliance * Professional indemnity insurance ($10M+), public liability, and workers' compensation. * Adherence to Commonwealth grant requirements, including cultural protocols and legislative compliance (Work Health and Safety, Working with Vulnerable Persons). ### 🔍 Search Keywords #KalkadoonPBC #IndigenousGovernance #CATSIAct #BusinessModelDevelopment #NIAA #CulturalTourism #MountIsa #CorporateGovernance #GrantManagement #IndigenousConsulting
