### 🚨 Emergency Response Team (ERT) Tender: Borumba Pumped Hydro Project
**Queensland Hydro** is seeking qualified service providers to establish and manage an **Emergency Response Team (ERT)** for the Exploratory Works phase of the **Borumba Pumped Hydro Energy Storage (PHES) Project**. This critical contract, spanning approximately two years, focuses on providing primary emergency response services for a remote, high-risk construction site in the Sunshine Coast hinterland.
#### đź“‹ Scope of Work
The successful bidder will be responsible for:
* **Personnel & Equipment:** Providing trained ERT members and specialized equipment, including 4WD firefighting appliances, vertical and confined space rescue gear, thermal imaging, and spill response kits.
* **Operational Readiness:** Setting up site offices, developing the Project Emergency Response Plan, conducting regular exercises, and performing light vehicle compliance inspections.
* **Incident Management:** Serving as the first responder for credible emergencies, including traffic accidents, confined space/height incidents, bushfires, structural fires, hazardous material spills, and medical extractions from difficult terrain.

The Borumba Project involves complex activities such as underground tunneling, geotechnical drilling, and heavy vehicle operations in remote, rugged terrain. Given the distance from public emergency services, the ERT is vital for maintaining site safety.
