### 🚨 Emergency Response Team (ERT) Tender: Borumba Pumped Hydro Project **Queensland Hydro** is seeking qualified service providers to establish and manage an **Emergency Response Team (ERT)** for the Exploratory Works phase of the **Borumba Pumped Hydro Energy Storage (PHES) Project**. This critical contract, spanning approximately two years, focuses on providing primary emergency response services for a remote, high-risk construction site in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. #### 📋 Scope of Work The successful bidder will be responsible for: * **Personnel & Equipment:** Providing trained ERT members and specialized equipment, including 4WD firefighting appliances, vertical and confined space rescue gear, thermal imaging, and spill response kits. * **Operational Readiness:** Setting up site offices, developing the Project Emergency Response Plan, conducting regular exercises, and performing light vehicle compliance inspections. * **Incident Management:** Serving as the first responder for credible emergencies, including traffic accidents, confined space/height incidents, bushfires, structural fires, hazardous material spills, and medical extractions from difficult terrain. #### 🏗️ Project Context The Borumba Project involves complex activities such as underground tunneling, geotechnical drilling, and heavy vehicle operations in remote, rugged terrain.
