Summary and scope

Tamworth Regional Council is seeking quotations from suitably qualified consultants to undertake investigations and multidisciplinary design services for the proposed relining and associated civil works for three existing ponds and one dam within the Tamworth Regional Botanic Gardens, Tamworth NSW.The engagement is intended to deliver a complete tender-ready design package suitable for future construction procurement.The scope generally includes:- Site inspections and investigations- Detailed survey- Geotechnical investigations- Liner methodology recommendations- Civil and earthworks design- Pond and dam relining design- Liner fixing and anchoring details- Preparation of detailed design drawings- Preparation of technical specifications- Preparation of tender-ready documentationConstruction works associated with the project are not currently funded and do not form part of this RFQ.Submissions may be evaluated against the following criteria:- Lump sum fee and value for money – 40%- Relevant experience delivering projects of a similar nature – 25%- Demonstrated understanding of the project scope and proposed methodology – 20%- Capability and experience of the proposed project team and subconsultants – 10%- Completeness of submission and compliance with RFQ requirements – 5%Respondents are required to review the attached Technical Specification, Mandatory Submission Document and all supporting attachments and provide all information requested as part of their submission.
