### 🏗️ Tender Overview Whitsunday Regional Council is inviting experienced contractors to submit proposals for the **installation and commissioning of membrane racks and modules** at the Bowen Sewage Treatment Plant (BSTP). This project involves the replacement of membrane modules in membrane train 2, as well as the strategic replacement of modules in trains 1 and 3 using salvaged components. ### 📋 Scope of Work - **Installation & Commissioning:** Installing 198 B40N PVDF membrane modules into 18 new racks in membrane train 2. - **Removal & Storage:** Removing and storing existing racks from train 2. - **Maintenance:** Replacing 'bad' or 'maybe' modules in trains 1 and 3 with verified 'good' components from train 2. - **Performance Verification:** Ensuring the new installation meets all specified performance requirements. - **Constraints:** No modifications to existing plant infrastructure are permitted. ### 📍 Location & Requirements - **Site:** Bowen Sewage Treatment Plant, Peter Wyche Drive, Bowen, QLD 4805. - **Briefing:** A non-mandatory site briefing is scheduled for June 4, 2026.
