☀️ Solar & Battery Installation Tender Barcaldine Regional Council (BRC) is inviting tenders for an end-to-end service provider to support its renewable energy and efficiency initiatives. The project aims to reduce carbon emissions and electricity costs across various council-owned facilities. 📋 Scope of Work Successful bidders will be responsible for the full lifecycle of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and, where applicable, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Key requirements include: Design & Engineering: Development of concept and detailed designs, including PV layouts, inverter arrangements, and BESS integration. Structural engineering certification for roof capacity is mandatory. Supply & Installation: Provision of all hardware, including PV modules, mounting systems, inverters, cabling, and switchboard upgrades. BESS Integration: Installation of battery units, enclosures, and necessary civil/electrical works, including concrete pads.
