Ross Lane Flood Resilience Betterment

Summary and scope

Ballina Shire Council is seeking to engage a Contractor for the betterment of a flood prone section of Ross Lane, Kinvara. This betterment project includes raising low portions of Ross Lane and the inclusion of a new bridge structure.Road Construction will include shoulder widening to provide 1.2m wide shoulders and improved structural performance through the addition of new, overlayed pavement layers. An existing triple cell culvert located at Deadman's Creek will be replaced with a single span concrete bridge structure to provide increased waterway area.Undertaking these works will improve the flood resilience of this arterial road and reduce the future impacts on the local and wider community.Tenderers should note that there is a pre-tender meeting held in accordance with the information provided in the 'Title Page' document. Attendance at this meeting is considered a mandatory requirement for a company to lodge a tender.
