Prepare Temora Urban Release Areas Servicing Plan

Summary and scope

The project involves the delivery of a servicing plan to support major urban land release areas in Temora, to fast track the supply of development-ready housing land. The study area covers an area of 110 hectares and has the potential to support the delivery of 500 additional residential lots.The project objectives are to: - Respond to the objectives of the Temora Local Housing Strategy, to support a range of housing opportunities, - Build upon the existing momentum of housing delivery in Temora, ensuring there continues to be a ready supply of developable residential land, - Complete concept investigations of the servicing requirements for short term priority projects identified within the Temora Local Housing Strategy 2026, - Identify constraints within existing sewer and stormwater networks and define the enabling trunk infrastructure required for future development, - Provide a strategy for the provision of servicing infrastructure, in particular sewer and stormwater services, to support the residential development of three major urban release areas located on the eastern fringe of Temora, - Provide clear, strategic directions for Council, developers, and the community regarding the efficient provision of shared servicing infrastructure, providing confidence for investment, and - Manage the costs of servicing infrastructure by providing a reliable path forward, supporting sustainable construction costs, in order to encourage additional investment in housing opportunities in Temora.
