Woorabinda Aboriginal Shire Council invites suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the delivery of Stage 2 of the Women’s Sporting Hub.Stage 1 is the supply & installation of the modular clubhouse. (Works not within this tender)Stage 2 comprises the establishment of the new Home of Women’s Sport in Woorabinda, featuring the construction of 2x multi-purpose sporting concrete courts, covered grandstand seating, concrete paths, design and installation of electrical, water, sewer and drainage to the clubhouse, playground and associated works as per the technical specification. The stage 2 scope along with the clubhouse will ensure the precinct provides the women of Woorabinda with a welcoming, family-friendly, safe community space.Stage 3 works will follow, a time-frame TBC, comprising of a hardcover roof over the two courts with competition standard lighting.As the 2nd stage of the Women’s Sporting Hub program, this package provides the key community infrastructure – 2 x courts, grandstand covered seating, fenced playground, concrete paths, building services and associated works that will contribute to a cohesive, high-quality sporting precinct for the Woorabinda community.Works are to be completed in accordance with approved design documentation, applicable guidelines, and best-practice construction methods.
