The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is seeking applications for new applicants to join the BHTSP Contract Administration Panel.This application process is only for new applicants wishing to join the BHTSP Contract Administration Panel (existing BHTSP Contract Administration Panel Members are not permitted to apply for this process).The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is delivering the Bruce Highway Targeted Safety Program (BHTSP). The Bruce Highway is a vital 1,673 kilometre north-south corridor in Queensland, connecting Brisbane to Cairns. In January 2025, the Australian and Queensland governments announced a joint funding commitment of $9 billion towards the BHTSP to enhance safety and uplift deficient sections of the highway to achieve a three-star rating.The BHTSP focuses on sections of the Bruce Highway between Gympie and Cairns with a high safety risk.Projects to be delivered through the BHTSP will be awarded to prequalified contractors and prequalified on the Construction Panel. The BHTSP will be delivered in the following districts:- Far North Queensland District- Fitzroy District- Mackay/Whitsunday District- Northern District- Wide Bay/Burnett DistrictContract Administration Panel Members may be engaged to deliver a project under either a:- Transport Infrastructure Contract – Construct Only (BHTSP TIC-CO Contract) (Construct only contract); or- Transport Infrastructure Contract – Target Cost (TIC-TC Contract) (Design and Construct contract),
