2025.119 Electrical Installation and Maintenance Services (Stage 1 Expressions of Interest)

Summary and scope

The Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified parties for the provision of Electrical Installation and Maintenance Services (the Services) within the Mount Barker District Council local government area.The Council will enter into an Agreement for these services with the successful Tenderer for an initial term of 3 years with the option to extend for an additional year.The work comprises of general electrical maintenance work, emergency responses and electrical installations to Mount Barker District Council owned assets, buildings and facilities. The work will also be required at the premises of the Council’s subsidiary GMB Water and, and where suitable based on individual needs, at premises of its Commonwealth Home Support Program residents. This Tender is designed to low to medium value works. Council reserves the right to procure works through alternative means for larger planned or project works.Work may include, but is not limited to:• Power points, fans, smoke alarms, television points, antennas, phone and data• Communications cabling, RCD, and surge protection• Temporary power services• Electrical hot water services• Fault finding and detailed reporting• Power supply connection or disconnection of appliances• Bathroom heaters/hand dryers• Sensor and security lighting• Internal/external lighting• Street and trail lighting• Emergency power and lighting failures• Consumer mains cable• Irrigation power supply and pumps• Emergency and exit lights• Solar Panel Maintenance• EV Charging Station installation/maintenance
