Summary and scope
During a routine safety assessment audit undertaken by Royal Life Saving WA at the Hyden & Districts Aquatic Centre (Hyden Swimming Pool) it was found that the existing 3m springboard was non-compliant. On receipt of this report, the three metre diving board was closed, and the Shire of Kondinin engaged the services of an engineer to prepare plans to undertake modifications to the board to become a platform to address the compliance requirements stipulated in the Report. The Shire of Kondinin is now seeking the services of a suitable qualified contractor to undertake the engineering modifications to the diving board prescribed in the engineering drawings prepared. A copy of the engineering drawings are attached to this Request for Quotation.
