Request for Tender: T11-16/17 Periodic Bituminous Sealing & Line Marking in Wyndham and Kununurra

Summary and scope

The Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley invites tenders from suitably experienced contractors for the provision of bituminous sealing and line marking services for a period of one (1) year with a possible one (1) year extension. The resultant contract will be a schedule of rates contract that will be utilized by the Principal on an as required basis for the completion of services within a 77.50 km radius of the Kununurra General Post Office (GPO). Appointment to the Contract does not guarantee a specific financial value or volume of work annually, with Services to be performed in accordance with the Principals Representative’s direction and available budgets provisions. The Services include supply of materials, design and application of sprayed seals for roads and related applications and includes the following types of sprayed treatments: (a) Primes; (b) Conventional Seals and Reseals; (c) Linemarking; and (d) Road repairs (including but not limited to pot holes, crack sealing, crazed areas, bleeding surfaces, rutting, ravelling, shape correction, shoving and stripping). Clarification of tender details must be in writing and sought via the Shire’s VendorPanel website, prior to 2:00pm, Thursday 20 April 2017. Tenders must be submitted via the Shire’s VendorPanel website www.vendorpanel.com.au/swek The Deadline for submissions is 2:00pm (WST), Friday 28 April 2017. Responses submitted by facsimile, email, mail or hand delivery will not be accepted. Late tenders will not be accepted. The lowest, or any tender may not necessarily be accepted. Any potential tenderer canvassing Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley Officers will be disqualified from the tender process.
