### 🚆 Project Overview Sydney Trains is inviting Request for Proposals (RFP) for the **Maintenance of XPT and XPL Buffet Car Equipment**. This contract involves the routine inspection and repair of buffet facilities across 9 XPT and 8 XPL rail cars. The engagement is set for an initial term of **three years**, with available extension options, ensuring the continued functionality of onboard catering services. ### 🛠️ Key Requirements & Scope The successful contractor will be responsible for: * **Quarterly Inspections:** Conducting mechanical maintenance on fridges, freezers, bin drawers, locks, and shelving. * **Repairs:** Managing both on-site and off-site repairs for damaged doors, drawers, and internal fixtures like towel rails and counters. * **Inventory Management:** Maintaining a stock of spare parts for immediate replacement of non-functioning components. * **Compliance:** Adhering to Sydney Trains Technical Maintenance Plans (TMP), OEM requirements, and strict Safety Management Systems, including Rail Industry Worker inductions. ### 📋 Qualifications & Deliverables Bidders must demonstrate strong **financial and organizational capacity**.
