Project: Maryvale Solar and Energy Storage Project owner: PCL Constructors Pacific Rim Pty Ltd Location: NSW Australia Work package status: Closed Scope: Full Scope Work package description: ICN hereby invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from respective trade contractors and suppliers for the Maryvale Solar Farm and Energy Storage System project. All EOI submissions should be made through the Gateway by ICN. PCL Constructors Pacific Rim Pty Ltd's objective is to contract as many tenders locally as possible. Work Scope:" Domestic delivery of equipment and materials from the Sydney port to site using flatbed trucks, side loaders, and other suitable vehicles. Project overview: The Maryvale Solar and Energy Storage Project is a proposed renewable energy facility located near the town of Maryvale, 12km North-West of Wellington, NSW. The Project will be able to export 172MW of power into the electricity network thanks to an installed capacity of approximately 240MWp of photovoltaics 'DC-coupled' with 409 MWh of energy storage.Construction of the Project will consist of up to 400,000 PV panels installed on a single-axis tracker system in arrays. The Project will also install a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), consisting of approximately 122 'shipping container' style buildings housing batteries distributed across the site.Major construction works will commence in July 2025 and will bring both direct and indirect benefits, including up to 360 jobs during the peak of the two-year construction period.
