Summary and scope
Palm Island Aboriginal Shire Council (Council) is seeking suitably qualified and experienced Tenderers to undertake the design and construction of the Palm Island Waste Transfer Facility (WTF). The Works include completion of detailed design and all investigations, approvals, certifications, procurement, supply, construction, services and utility connections, testing, commissioning, handover and close-out necessary to deliver a complete and operational Waste Transfer Facility in accordance with Part B – Specification. The Invitation to Tender also includes the Men's Shed as separately priced Optional Works. Council may, at its sole discretion and subject to funding availability, elect to include all or part of the Optional Works in the Contract. The pricing or availability of the Optional Works does not alter the Tenderer's obligation to submit a complete and conforming Tender for the mandatory Waste Transfer Facility Works.
