Summary and scope
The purpose of the EOI Document is to set out the Procurement Process, EOI Conditions, the Evaluation Process, the Principal's objectives, and key details that the Respondent needs to know to submit a conforming Submission.The scope includes the removal of existing structures within the proposed footprint of the main works, isolation of services, and removal of excess fill from site. The Early Works Contractor will be responsible for the planning, design, and delivery of deconstruction and demolition works, earthworks, and associated activities, including utility disconnections and site delineation.This includes demolition of the existing western grandstand, plaza pavements and redundant services, partial site levelling, stockpiling of suitable material, and the removal of approximately 17,000 m³ of material from the eastern mound.The Early Works Contractor will provide all labour, plant, materials, temporary works, supervision, permits, approvals, subcontractors and services necessary to deliver the Project in a safe, compliant, and coordinated manner.Key activities include: • establishment of site access and security;• demolition;• site clearing and protection;• bulk earthworks;• utility management;• surface water management;• traffic management;• erosion and sediment controls;• environmental controls; and• technical reporting and documentation.
