"Bulabul" means "two acting together," symbolising the partnership between the community and the project, and the meeting of the Bell and Macquarie rivers at Wellington. The project is being delivered in two stages: Bulabul 1: 300 MW / 600 MWh Bulabul 2: 100 MW / 400 MWhTogether, the two stages will provide a total of 400 MW of power and 1 GWh of storage capacity, enabling the system to store renewable energy and dispatch it during periods of high demand.AMPYR's goal is to ensure residents, the local community, Aboriginal owners, and other stakeholders have a voice in the process by providing transparent communication, seeking input, and actively listening to community feedback. We're excited to keep sharing updates as the project unfolds, through our project website, Bulabul Battery AMPYR Energy Australia: https://www.ampyr.com.au/our-projects/bulabul-battery/As part of our commitment to regional growth and lasting impact, we're proud to support local suppliers, strengthening community capability and ensuring that every step of the journey delivers value to those around us.
