Summary and scope
ACC is seeking medical practitioners to provide independent permanent impairment assessments for our clients. Clients who sustain permanent impairment resulting from a covered injury are entitled to an independent impairment assessment. This assessment determines whole person impairment, and entitlement for either a lump sum compensation, or an independence allowance. ACC must appoint and pay an appropriate impairment assessor in accordance with the Accident Compensation Act 2001.
