This work is part of Urban package to renew/upgrade existing pipework on streets that intersect with state highway, and where pipe is failing due to age and material and requires renewal and upsizing.NZTA has planned some road works in next year, so to avoid re-digging and trenching a newly sealed road, the pipe renewals works are prioritised in location in advance of this road works.
