🏗️ Tender Overview Buller District Council invites proposals for the Design and Construction of two replacement bridge structures located on Palmer Road in the Inangahua Ward: the Brown Grey River Bridge (Bridge 117) and the Blue Grey River Bridge (Bridge 120). These sites are situated approximately 4km apart, starting from the junction with State Highway 7. 📋 Scope of Work The successful contractor will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the replacement, including: Design and Engineering: Development of preliminary and final design statements, including confirmation of span arrangements. Construction: Supply and installation of new structures featuring piled abutments, intermediate river supports, and composite concrete bridge decks on steel girders. Demolition: Removal of the existing bridge structures. 🛠️ Key Technical Requirements Brown Grey River Bridge: Minimum requirement of 2 spans of 15m. Blue Grey River Bridge: Minimum requirement of 3 spans of 16m.
