🏗️ Project Overview The Ministry of Education is seeking a qualified contractor for the 2481 GBHS LSPMs - Block G Permanent Solution project in Gisborne. This tender focuses on the conversion of existing school facilities to provide specialized learning environments. 📋 Scope of Work This project represents Stage 1 of a two-stage development. Key deliverables include: Facility Conversion: Transforming two existing science labs and corridor space into dedicated learning support classrooms for 5 special needs pupils and their support staff. Construction Works: Internal room construction, installation of new exterior timber decking, and an accessible ramp. Infrastructure Upgrades: New fencing, plumbing, and drainage systems. Specialized Services: Asbestos removal from ceiling and wall cavities, and installation of new joinery units. 🛠️ Requirements & Engagement Contract Type: The project will be delivered under a Medium Works Contract. Constraints: The Principal requires no contract-related tags, and prefers no tags regarding drawings or specifications. Site Conditions: The site is level with good vehicle access.
