🏗️ Project Overview The New Zealand Transport Agency (Waka Kotahi) is seeking tenders for the SH76 Brougham Street Corridor Improvements Project. This initiative is part of the Roads of Regional Significance (RoRS) programme, aimed at upgrading a critical urban corridor in Canterbury. 🛠️ Scope of Work The project involves comprehensive infrastructure upgrades, including: Roadworks: Pavement and surfacing improvements, intersection upgrades, and enhanced crossings. Systems: Implementation of intelligent transport systems. Urban Integration: Streetscape works and extensive utility coordination, including watermain works for the Christchurch City Council. 📋 Key Requirements Bidders must demonstrate high-level technical capability and hold specific prequalifications: NZTA Prequalification: Surfacing – Level A (2A) and Construction – Level A (4A) are mandatory. Specialized Approvals: Watermain works require a contractor approved under the CCC’s Three Waters Physical Works Panel. Orion 66kV utility crossing works must be performed by an Orion prequalified 66kV contractor.
