Key responsibilities include: Policy Development: Leading the review, development, and consultation of the Kiribati National Energy Policy (KNEP). Strategic Planning: Updating the Kiribati Integrated Energy Roadmap (KIER) and associated energy policy instruments. Capacity Building: Strengthening coordination between government agencies and international development partners.
