🏗️ Project Overview The Central Hawke's Bay District Council (CHBDC) is seeking a qualified contractor for the W2WS Waipawa River Directional Drilling project. This Registration of Interest (ROI) focuses on the specialized installation of a potable water pipeline to support the broader 'Waipukurau Second Water Supply' initiative. 🛠️ Scope of Work The successful bidder will be responsible for: Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD): Execution of a 350m pipe installation underneath the Waipawa River. Trenching: Installation of a 150m section of trenched pipe. This contract is specifically limited to the drilling and associated trenching works. Other components of the wider pipeline and reservoir construction are managed separately through the Council's existing Pipeline and Civil Work Panel. 🎯 Project Objectives The primary goal is to establish a supplementary water supply for Waipukurau, mitigating risks associated with the existing water supply system.
