SH1 Cambridge to Piarere Expressway Road of National Significance Online Section – Physical Works (Shortlisting)

🏗️ Project Overview The New Zealand Transport Agency (Waka Kotahi) is seeking Registrations of Interest (ROI) for the SH1 Cambridge to Piarere Expressway project. This tender focuses on the 'Online' section, a critical 6.4km segment of the 16km expressway extension. The project will be delivered under a Measure & Value physical works contract. 🛠️ Scope of Work The successful contractor will be responsible for extensive civil engineering works, including: Expressway Construction: 6.4 km of new four-lane expressway. Infrastructure: A full grade-separated interchange at Karāpiro Road, two overpass bridges, and one major culvert. Road Realignment: Extending and realigning approximately 5km of local roads on both sides of the expressway. Ancillary Works: New service roads, shared paths, stormwater soakage ponds, wetland creation, and landscaping. 📋 Eligibility & Requirements This is a restricted tender.
