🏗️ Project Overview: Reeves Plains Energy Hub ALINTA ENERGY (REEVES PLAINS) PTY LTD is seeking expressions of interest from qualified local and regional businesses for the Supply, Installation, and Commissioning of a Water Treatment Plant at the Reeves Plains Energy Hub in South Australia. This project is a critical infrastructure development designed to enhance South Australia's energy security and grid stability as the region transitions to net-zero emissions. 📋 Scope of Work The successful contractor will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of water treatment services, including: Supply, installation, and commissioning of the water treatment plant. Ongoing management and maintenance of the installed system. 🏢 Project Context The Reeves Plains Energy Hub is located north of Adelaide and is currently in the construction phase of Stage 1, which features a 250 MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). The broader project scope includes battery modules, inverters, electrical infrastructure, and supporting facilities such as water storage, control rooms, and site security. The project is being developed in two stages, ultimately targeting 500 MW of storage capacity, alongside a gas-fired power station designed to provide reliable backup for renewable energy sources. 🛠️ Requirements for Bidders Eligibility: Suppliers must hold a valid Australian Business Number (ABN).
