🏗️ Project Overview: Reeves Plains Energy Hub Alinta Energy (Reeves Plains) Pty Ltd is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) for the General Hardware Supply work package (Tender ID: icnwp103631) to support the development of the Reeves Plains Energy Hub in South Australia. This significant infrastructure project is designed to enhance grid stability and energy security as Australia transitions to net zero. 🛠️ Scope of Work & Requirements The project is currently in the construction phase of Stage 1 for a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). The successful supplier will be responsible for: Stock and Supply: Provision of general hardware goods required for site operations. Logistics: Coordination of delivery to the Reeves Plains site, including the capability to fulfill orders at short notice. 📋 Eligibility & Qualifications This opportunity is open to local and regional businesses that meet the following criteria: Must possess a valid Australian Business Number (ABN). Must demonstrate capability in hardware supply and site logistics. Must be suitably qualified to support large-scale energy infrastructure construction. 🔋 Project Context The Reeves Plains Energy Hub includes a 500 MW BESS (built in two 250 MW stages) and a planned gas-fired power station. The site features complex infrastructure, including battery modules, inverters, substations, and control facilities. Suppliers are encouraged to register their interest via the ICN Gateway to participate in this critical energy project.
