🏗️ Project Overview: Reeves Plains Energy Hub Alinta Energy (Reeves Plains) Pty Ltd is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) for Plant Hire services to support the construction of the Reeves Plains Energy Hub in South Australia. This significant infrastructure project is designed to bolster South Australia's energy security and grid stability as the nation transitions to net zero. 📋 Scope of Work The project is currently in the construction phase of Stage 1 for the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). The scope for this work package includes the supply of various plant and equipment necessary for site operations. Qualified local and regional businesses with an Australian Business Number (ABN) are encouraged to apply. 🔋 Project Details BESS Development: The project features a two-stage development, ultimately providing 500 MW of capacity. Stage 1 includes 250 MW of battery storage, 194 battery modules, 89 inverters, and associated electrical infrastructure including a new substation and underground 33kV connections. Gas Power Station: A secondary component involves a gas-fired power station designed to provide 24/7 backup for renewable energy sources. 🎯 Requirements for Bidders Must possess a valid Australian Business Number (ABN).
