🏗️ Project Overview: Kangwinan Project Rio Tinto Limited is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for Miscellaneous Trades related to the development of the Kangwinan Project, located in the Cape York Peninsula, Queensland. This major industrial development involves the construction of a Bauxite Beneficiation Plant, overland conveyor systems, and significant port infrastructure, including a new berth and shiploader rail extension. 📋 Scope of Work & Requirements The project encompasses a wide range of infrastructure components, including: Processing Facilities: Bauxite Beneficiation Plant, Truck Dump Station, and Tailing Storage Facility. Logistics & Transport: Crude Ore Overland Conveyor, new sealed access roads, and wharf/shiploader upgrades. Support Infrastructure: Deep artesian bores, process water supply, permanent accommodation expansion, and non-process facilities (workshops, fuel bunkering, and warehouses). 🛠️ Procurement & Participation Rio Tinto has appointed Bechtel Australia Pty Ltd as the EPCM contractor.
