Project: Moree Hospital Redevelopment Project owner: HUTCHINSON BUILDERS Location: NSW Australia Work package status: Open Scope: Full Scope Work package description: Express your interest in this project Project overview: Background on Project Owner:Health Infrastructure NSW is responsible for the planning, design and delivery of public health infrastructure across New South Wales. In this project they are partnering with Hunter New England Local Health District, which manages healthcare services in the region.Project Overview:Hutchinson Builders will be involved in approximately $73million of the project investment to construct a new Acute Services Building on the existing hospital grounds. This facility will include:-An emergency department-Operating theatres-Medical imaging services-A birthing and inpatient unit-Pathology servicesProject Location:The Moree Hospital is located to the south of the Mehi River. Located on 25 Alice Street Moree, NSW, 2400. The Hospital sits within a residential area in south of the town centre of Moree, servicing the regional community within the Moree Plains Shire. The hospital campus is largely flat and with the redevelopment located on the eastern portion of the existing hospital site.Project Time Frames12-05-2025 - 20-05-2027Process for Procurement/ Supply of Goods and ServicesHutchinson Builders assess trades and their pricing competitively. Please refer to attached documents.Any Specific RequirementsThe project includes several government mandated requirements:-Aboriginal Procurement Policy: is 4% of the Contract price. This could be in the form of subcontracting to Aboriginal Businesses and/or employing Aboriginal and Torres-Strait Islander people that directly contribute to the contact (on-site work force).-NSW Government's Infrastructure Skills Legacy Program: 20% (1 in 5) trades/ workers will need to be apprentices. These stats will be reported to the client quarterly.-Workforce Development Plan - Local Employment: Hutchinson Builders will undertake in improving local employments and training outcomes for people from the local area (defined as the area within 150km radius of the Site or in such other manner as determined by the Principal, in consultation with Training Services NSW or any other person).Indication of the next steps after Registration (Expression of Interest):Following their submission of expression of interest, the project team will assess the applications with the selected parties for potential collaboration.How to register an Expression of Interest (EOI)- Work packages currently available to submit an EOI for are listed in the 'Work Packages' tab above.
