Project overview: Chevron Australia Pty Ltd (Chevron Australia) is operator of the Barrow Island Joint Venture (known as WA Oil), located on Barrow Island off the northwest coast of Western Australia (WA).Since WA Oil production commenced in 1967, onshore production wells have gathered oil from the field beneath Barrow Island.
