⚡ Project Overview: Reeves Plains Energy Hub Alinta Energy (Reeves Plains) Pty Ltd is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from qualified local and regional businesses for the Design and Construction of an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Facility at the Reeves Plains Energy Hub in South Australia. This project is a critical infrastructure development designed to bolster South Australia's energy security and grid stability during the national transition to net zero. 🏗️ Scope of Work The successful contractor will be responsible for the full-scope design and construction of the O&M facility. This facility is a key component of the broader energy hub, which includes: Battery Energy Storage System (BESS): A two-stage project totaling 500 MW capacity, featuring battery modules, inverters, and associated electrical infrastructure. Gas Power Station: A 24/7 backup power facility currently in advanced development.
