⚡ Project Overview: Reeves Plains Energy Hub Alinta Energy (Reeves Plains) Pty Ltd is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) for Plant Cabling services related to the development of the Reeves Plains Energy Hub in South Australia. This project is a critical infrastructure initiative designed to enhance grid stability and support Australia's transition to net zero by providing reliable energy storage and backup capacity. 📋 Scope of Work The successful contractor will be responsible for the supply and installation of electrical balance of plant cabling. This work is part of the Stage 1 construction phase of the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), which includes: 250 MW battery capacity with four hours of storage. Integration of 194 battery modules and 89 inverters. Underground 33kV electrical connections. Installation of switch rooms, step-up transformers, and a new substation. 🏗️ Requirements & Qualifications Eligibility: Open to all suppliers with a valid Australian Business Number (ABN). Capability: Applicants must demonstrate technical proficiency in electrical balance of plant cabling for large-scale energy infrastructure.
