Project: 500MW-4Hr Tomago Battery Energy Storage System Project owner: FLUENCE ENERGY PTY LTD Location: NSW Australia Work package status: Closed Scope: Full Scope Work package description: Earthworks including concrete, reinforcing steel, stockpile removal Project overview: Fluence Energy Pty Ltd is developing a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), for our client AGL, with a capacity of approximately 500 megawatts (MW) and 2,000 megawatt-hour (MWh) (Facility), designed as two generating systems of 250 megawatts (MW) and 1000 megawatt-hour (MWh) each, for Tomago AGL Pty Ltd, which join together on the facility 132kV bus before transmission to the Point of Connection (PoC). The Project would provide a range of network services to augment the reliability of energy supply, provide storage and firming capacity to the National Energy Market (NEM) as well as additional services to assist grid stability including frequency control ancillary services.The Project site is approximately 700m Northwest of Tomago Substation, adjacent to Old Punt Road(Site).More information you may find here: AGL Battery Storage Project
