ποΈ Project Overview: Suburban Connect - Tunnelling South (Package C) Suburban Connect, a joint venture between CPB Contractors, Acciona, and Ghella, is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) for Waterproofing services related to the Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) East project. This major infrastructure development involves the design and construction of twin-bore tunnels spanning approximately 16km between Cheltenham and Glen Waverley, Victoria. π Scope of Work The project encompasses complex civil and tunnelling infrastructure, including: Tunnel Structures: Twin-bore tunnels, cross passages, and low sump points. Site Works: Ground improvement at Cheltenham and Clayton, portal decline structures, and tunnel launch structures. Infrastructure Integration: Protection for the South East Trunk Sewer, station box earth retention systems, and viaduct construction adjacent to Clayton Station. π― Procurement & Evaluation Criteria Prospective contractors must demonstrate capabilities in high-stakes civil engineering and align with the project's core objectives: Safety & Sustainability: Commitment to world-class safety standards and the Recycle First policy.
