Project: ASC - Supplier, Capability and Innovation Portal Project owner: ASC PTY LTD Location: ACT, NSW, NT, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC, WA Australia NI, SI New Zealand Work package status: Open Scope: Full Scope Work package description: ASC is collaborating with U.S. shipbuilders to qualify Australian vendors for participation in the VCS supply chain. ASC is seeking high quality Australian businesses capable of providing products suited to marine environments, with a strong preference on aligning to the strategic priority of building Australian capabilities in support of Nuclear-Powered Submarines. In parallel to previous waves that have been listed for expression of interest, ASC is also seeking general submissions from sovereign Australian businesses whose capabilities can support U.S. shipbuilders and contribute to the sustainment of VCS for ASC. These capabilities may include chemical reagents, shoreside services, shore power tools, consulting services, spares and repairs, consumables and contingent labour.
