Project: Sydney Metro West - Systems Frameworks Package Project owner: HONEYWELL LTD Location: NSW Australia Work package status: Open Scope: Full Scope Work package description: Install a complete closed-circuit television (CCTV) system for security monitoring, recording and incident review in a railway transport environment Project overview: Honeywell has been awarded the system framework contract for design, supply, installation and maintenance of below systems for Sydney Metro West project:Building Management Control Systems to supervise operation of the Sydney Metro West stations; andElectronic Access Control Systems to manage staff security access to operational areas of the stationsClosed Circuit Television Systems (CCTV System) to ensure safe, fast and reliable services,Fire Detection Systems to ensure safety across the alignment.Public Address Systems to keep customers informed at all times.Passenger Information Display Systems providing display boards with up-to-date trip information.Project location and contextThe Sydney Metro West project is a new 24-kilometre underground metro railway which will double rail capacity between Parramatta and the Sydney CBD, transforming Sydney for generations to come.This once-in-a-century infrastructure investment will provide fast, reliable turn-up-and-go metro services with fully accessible stations, link new communities to rail services and support employment growth and housing supplyStations have been confirmed at Westmead, Parramatta, Sydney Olympic Park, North Strathfield, Burwood North, Five Dock, The Bays, Pyrmont and Hunter Street in the Sydney CBD.Sydney Metro West will target an opening date of 2032.ICN Gateway Company RegistrationYour ICN Gateway company profile and any registrations of interest you submit are used to assess your organisation's ability to complete projects.Click here to create a new company profile or to login to your existing company profile.
