Project: 2 Lanceley Place, Artarmon Project owner: A.W. EDWARDS PTY LTD Location: NSW Australia Work package status: Open Scope: Full Scope Work package description: The subcontractor is responsible for providing all plant, labour, equipment, and materials required to complete comprehensive cleaning works. This includes performing initial, final, and deep cleaning prior to handover, ensuring all areas meet the specified cleanliness benchmark. Cleaning covers data halls, comms rooms, storage and office areas, corridors, including all specified grid sections. Tasks include cleaning doors and frames, handrails, metal items, signage, fittings, fixtures, cable trays, panel exteriors, and overheads using appropriate access equipment. The works involve vacuuming for fine particles, damp mopping, and technical cleaning of high-level surfaces and equipment (e.g., cabinet interiors and exteriors, switchboards, UPS units, CRAC units, sensors, and other specified components). Floors are to be cleaned of fine debris, damp-mopped, or scrub-washed as required. Additional requirements include maintaining tacky mats at entrances, performing indoor air quality testing to ISO 14644-1:2015 standards, using air scrubbing machines, and ensuring all rubbish is removed to site bins. All cleaning agents must be compatible with installed finishes, and the Subcontractor is responsible for remedying any damages caused during cleaning. Project overview: Goodman is constructing an 80MW data centre at 2 Lanceley Place, Artarmon, within the Willoughby local government area.
